Economic Development
Why it Matters
Economic Development is at the core of happiness and quality of life for communities, by creating, retaining and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth and provide a stable tax base. It is the engine that helps cities grow successfully.
Harvey’s geographic location and workforce positions it to be a major economic center of the south suburbs.
